At Easter 2009 I was elected 'General Organising Director', otherwise known as 'GOD', for 2010. It was my role to support the leaders of the ten different groups who made up Student Cross and co-ordinate the arrangements for Walsingham at Easter 2010.

A week of surprises
Student Cross is likely to surprise you. We are an immensely varied group of people. From the very young to the very experienced. From people who feel secure in their faith as Christians, to people who have simply found that walking in friendship restores them in some way. We are students, parents, teenagers and children, people with jobs and people without. Fit and unfit, wildly enthusiastic and apparently reluctant. What we have in common is that we find this pilgrimage an invaluable way of connecting with what is most important in our lives.

Financial help
Financial assistance is available for needy pilgrims. The Student Cross Association raises money throughout the year to ensure that anyone who wants to walk is able to walk - no matter what their financial means. If you could benefit from financial help, whether or not you are a student, please ask.
