Travel news - Easter 2012 Note that all pilgrims are
responsible for making their own travel arrangements to the start of
their leg/route. Please ask the leg leader for travel advice.
Coaches
Two coaches are booked for Easter
Sunday, 8 April 2012, to transport pilgrims back from Walsingham.
One will travel to Leicester via Peterborough, the other to Victoria
Station in London via Epping and Kings Cross. Both coaches depart
Walsingham at 3pm.
Estimated arrival times are (please note these are not guaranteed):
London coach: stopping off in Epping before reaching Victoria
by 6pm.
Leicester coach: Peterborough 4.30pm, Leicester 5.45pm.
It is very difficult to be accurate with the times and depending on
traffic they could vary.
Prices should be below £15 depending on the number of passengers.
Bookings are made in Walsingham during the Easter weekend. Pilgrims
need to have enough cash to pay upon boarding their coach.
Trains
Anyone planning to travel to or from
Student Cross by train should note there are a number of engineering
works affecting train services during the Easter period.
