London Leg - Route
Although the first pilgrims began
walking from central London, due to the increase in traffic in
recent years, we have now started walking from Epping. Epping is the
last tube station on the Central Line to the north east of London
and is just outside the London Orbital. It is very easy to get to
from central London and the journey on the tube takes about an hour.
We start walking the Saturday before Palm Sunday, having all met in
Epping the Friday evening the day before. The main destinations passed through each day
are:
SATURDAY
AM - Epping, Epping Green, Nazeing, Roydon,
PM - Stansted Abbots, Ware, High Cross, St Edmund's College.
